What You Will Need to Make an Owl

  • 1 Small Rectangular Piece of Paper, any Color or Print
  • 3 Cupcake Liners
  • 1 Small Orange Triangular Piece of Paper
  • 1 Small White Piece of Paper
  • 1 Small Black Piece of Paper
  • 2 Large Bottle Caps
  • 1 Small Bottle Cap
  • Tape
  • Hot Glue Gun and Glue

How to Make an Owl
  1. To make the body of the owl, roll small rectangular piece of paper into a cylinder, and tape the edge.
  2. To make ears for the owl, fold in one side of cylinder, then fold in the other side, and tape it so it stays folded in.
  3. To make a nose for the owl, glue the small orange triangular piece of paper upside down near the top middle of the body.
  4. To make eyes for the owl:
    1. Place the 2 large bottle caps next to each other on the small white piece of paper, trace them, and cut it out.
    2. Place the 1 small bottle cap on a black piece of paper, trace it, and cut it out. Repeat again.
    3. Glue the two black circles onto the white piece of paper.
    4. Glue the eyes above the nose.
  5. To make feathers for the owl, fold 1 cupcake liner in half and cut out the center circle. Next, cut the cupcake liner into two pieces by cutting along each fold. Glue each cupcake liner piece to the bottom part of the owl's body, one on top of the other.
  6. To make wings for the owl, fold the 2 remaining cupcake liners in half. Glue to the bottom back of the owl with the folder edge at the top.
